This week, something struck me deeply: We underestimate the power of small choices.
We wait for the big breakthrough, the dramatic shift, the “this changes everything” moment… but that’s rarely how life works. Real change, lasting change often begins with something as simple as choosing differently today than you did yesterday.
When I started writing this book, I didn’t suddenly wake up enlightened. I just kept choosing small things that felt better for me. I stopped apologising as much. I spoke to myself with kinder words. I took breaks before breaking down. I listened, really listened, to what my heart was trying to tell me.
And each choice, no matter how tiny, pulled me further out of the darkness and closer to the light.
Your life doesn’t transform because of one decision.
It transforms because of hundreds of tiny ones.
Choosing honesty over hiding.
Choosing rest over pushing.
Choosing compassion over self-criticism.
Choosing curiosity over fear.
Even when it feels like “two steps forward, two back,” every small shift matters.
You’re still learning. You’re still growing. You’re still finding your way.
And here’s something important:
Letting go doesn’t erase your past it releases your future.
You don’t need to forget who you were.
You just need to free yourself from the parts of you that no longer feel true.
So the next time you’re doubting yourself, ask:
What tiny choice can I make today that brings me closer to the light within me?
You don’t need a perfect plan.
You just need one small step.
Much love & light
